7 New titles added to Xbox Game Pass for October

Xbox Game pass see’s its library grow larger, with subscribers receiving 7 further titles added for October.

The subscription service, which launched on June 1st 2017 and has been steadily growing, is Microsoft’s ‘Netflix-esq’ programme that allows members to download and play well over a 100 titles (and counting) as long as they remain subscribed or the game remains in the catalogue.

October see’s the following games added

  • Street Fighter IV (Capcom)
  • State of Decay (Undead Labs)
  • Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (Volition, High Voltage Software)
  • The Bug Butcher (Awfully Nice Studios)
  • Costume Quest 2 (Double Fine)
  • Maldita Castilla EX – Cursed Castle (Locomalito)
  • Tower of Guns (Terrible Posture Games)

Microsoft is also continuing its “Game Pass Goals”  for October, having previously introduced the promotion/competition in September. The previous promotion challenged players to complete goals within the subscription service for real world prizes. September had subscribers having to play a certain number of games (one’s that they hadn’t played before) for a minimum of 30 minutes. Prizes included items such as Xbox Live Gold, Free DLC, Movie Downloads and a chance of the Grand price of  $500 Xbox store credit!

October’s challenge is rumoured to be around the theme “Frightfully Fun” Obviously in keeping with the upcoming Halloween holiday, though the challenges have yet to be formally confirmed.

Pricing is currently set at £7.99 or $9.99 monthly
