Lovecraftian horror ‘The Sinking City’ rises this Summer

The Sinking City will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the 27th June 2019

Bigben and Frogware were originally intending on releasing the game this month but have decided to delay it due to the packed schedule. Considering we’ve already had Devil May Cry 5, The Division 2 and various others with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice still to come then this is likely a strong decision.

This adventure game will allow players to explore an open world inspired by the writings and universe of H.P. Lovecraft. It comes from Frowares studio, well known for The Sherlock Holmes series. I have a platinum trophy in both of those games and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. Step into the shoes of Charles, a private detective who has arrived in the town of Oakmont to sold the mystery of the city’s slow sinking. With multiple endings and a variety of solutions to the game’s cases there is plenty of replay value. You might solve the mystery. You might descend into madness. Charles story will be your story and you’ll get to experience it this summer.

Have your say!
