PSX2017: The Last of Us II might not be far off

During the Last of Us PSX panel we learned multiple things. For starters, Neil Druckmann isn’t going to let anything slip that he doesn’t want to be out there. He is going to keep all the fans in suspense for a very long time. We learned that Lev and Yara are in fact brother and sister with Lev being the younger of the two. We still don’t know much of anything about the “mystery woman” who appeared in the Paris Games Week trailer.

One thing to note that we did learn is that The Last of Us Part II is about 50%-60% complete. Neil Druckmann was asked the question for an on the spot answer and he said that he would put completion at around 50-60%. That is amazing news for fans of the series, knowing that they are half to a little more than half way done suggest that we could be playing this game within the next 12-15 months. Neil also informed us that we would see the all anticipated gameplay trailer at E3 2018. That is around 6 months away but as time seems to do, that will fly by in a blink of an eye.

I for one cannot wait to get to play this game. It’s a long-awaited, very anticipated sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed games in recent history. Is this an anticipated title for you? Will you be counting down the days to E3 as I will for that gameplay trailer? Let us know in the comments down below.

Have your say!
