Todays biggest story has been of course Spyro the Dragon’s original three adventures getting remastered. It was rumored. It was leaked. Finally it is confirmed and available to preorder for £34.99/$39.99 digitally on PS4 and Xbox One. The game was not revealed to be coming to Nintendo Switch or PC though. However Nintendo seem to have not gotten that memo, listing the game for release on their store as available to preorder -> https://t.co/ryaHbbIEtv.
No information on the release date is provided, but this alongside other clues such as the developers not denying a Nintendo Switch version points to the game existing. Respected industry insider Liam Robertson also took to Twitter to address Nintendo fans complaints. Considering the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy is coming to Switch alongside PC and Xbox One, it would have been odd for Spyro to skip the platform. Patience is a virtue folks. Nintendo often like to handle large announcements themselves, and could just be saving Spyro for an upcoming Nintendo Direct or their E3 presentation.
Relax about the Switch portbegging for Spyro. Just wait.
