Yesterday, Crema Games’ Kickstarter Campaign for its highly anticipated Pokémon inspired creature-collection MMO came to an overwhelmingly successful finish. When the Kickstarter originally launched, Crema Games’ goal for adequate funding was $70,000. That initial goal was shattered by a record-breaking $573,939 pledged from over 11,716 backers! Such a feat makes Temtem the most funded video game to ever be developed by a Spanish based company, surpassing previous Spanish video game developers, The Game Kitchen.

We previously covered Temtem’s Kickstarter campaign and broke down all of the features and elements of this highly ambitious monster fighter, which you can check out here. At that time, the Kickstarter project was just about to reach its $250,000 mark, which would’ve ushered in promised development for the Nintendo Switch. Since then, that goal has been met and doubled, so Crema Games has now expanded its development to Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and is still heading to Steam for PC. With the Kickstarter window now over, Temtem is headed into its next phase, Alpha testing. The Alpha phase begins this November, and then will feature two content updates in the first half of 2019. Finally, an early access launch is planned for September of 2019 with it’s final release in 2020. – via Kickstarter by Crema Games
