One of the best action adventure platformers is getting free DLC this year, and based on this review, I’m definitely talking about The Messenger. The new expansion is called ‘Picnic Panic’ and sees our new favorite Ninja in more tropical scenery with beaches and aquatic enemies.
This is the first of a potential three pieces of additional content. Sabotage Studios hope that by offering this DLC as free, it’ll drive sales for the base game, and should sales meet the expectations they have set, we could see the other two expansions down the line. I hope all their goals are met because this is a spectacular game that deserves all the success and praise it gets.
