For a while World Of Warcraft players have been asking for a server that allows them to go back in time. To a time before Draenor, before the cataclysm, and before the burning crusades back to the time of vanilla wow and the vanilla experience. Well enough people asked, and Blizzard is providing the new World of Warcraft Classic (quick everyone ask for Warcraft and Diablo 4!).
Blizzard has announced World of Warcraft Classic which will send us back in time to the world vanilla wow with its own servers. With all the player made “legacy” servers out their blizzard has known that people want to play vanilla WoW. Unfortunately for several reasons Blizzard has not indulged its fans but now things have changed and now blizzard is listening to its player base and they are giving us what we wanted.
Right now we don’t have any information on WoW Classic, no idea on how far the servers are and no idea on any release date yet, but we will try to keep you up to date on all information regarding World of Warcraft Classic.
StarCraft 2 is becoming free to play
At the beginning of Blizzcon, Blizzard Entertainment came out swinging, announcing that on StarCraft 2: Wings Of Liberty will be free to play on November 14th.
Unfortunately, the good also comes with some bad. While the initial StarCraft 2 game is free 2 play the expansions however are not. While you do still have to pay for the expansions if you already have Starcraft 2 then Blizzard will be giving the Heart of the Swarm for free.
With the free 2 play StarCraft 2 you will be able to play the story of Wings Of Liberty, the competitive online multiplayer and co-op mode up to level 5 with all the co-op commanders. In the age we live where most gaming companies tend to dismiss its player base, it’s refreshing to see a company try and give something back to their players and I can only speak for myself but I really appreciate it.
