Turn your water holy and purify your swords with salt, because the night is finally coming! Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night release date is here…
It’s here. It’s finally here. After waiting like a peasant who wasn’t able to support its Kickstarter, now I can finally see a light at the end of the castle. We may have the incoming Castlevania Anniversary Collection soon, but this is the real deal. Hope you are ready because Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night release date is real. And the people working on it told us in quite a… Confident trailer.
Yup, you read that right: June 18th is the date this beauty comes out on our consoles. And I do mean beauty because this game has seen some great visual improvements for sure! This only shows what happens when developers listen to the community: only good things. However, even if animations and the overall realism has improved for sure, I have to say that ‘realistic’ doesn’t mean great.
In terms of style, I always thought that Bloodstained RotN lacked visual personality. Models look a little bit stale and the monsters shown so far are not that unique to stand out. Which is pretty weird coming from someone who worked on basically the Disney World of folklore creatures and mythological beasts.
But hey, only time will tell how good this title stands out for years to come. Come on, you already know how much I love Igarashi, I still have high hopes for Bloodstained!
