There is no word if there is any online in the beta, as the only confirmation as of now is that it will contain three versus three local gameplay.

Also coming in August, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC are the next set of DLC characters. Base Vegeta and Base Goku will join the roster with attacks more associated to the pre-Super Saiyan power ups.

Base Vegeta will have his Galick Gun from one of the most icon scenes in Dragon Ball Z, being able to shoot it mid air even. He will also have his Galaxy Breaker attack that sees him have energy radiate from his body. Base Goku will have access to his iconic Kaioken ability that will increase in power depending on how many other members of your team have been killed. It has also been boasted that Base Goku will the most powerful ultimate attack in the form of the Super Spirit Bomb but to balance it the attack is terribly slow, possibility making it easy to avoid.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available on all major consoles, with the Switch version arriving on September 28th. Those who preorder the Switch version will get a free copy of Super Butoden, a super rare Japanese Dragon Ball Z game that released on the Super Famicon. Preorder also gives players access to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan versions of Vegeta and Goku.
