A reminder to all fighting game enthusiast, all Dragon Ball FighterZ fans, and all Nintendo Switch owners that the open beta for FighterZ starts on August 9th and will run through the weekend to conclude on the 11th of August.
Four modes will be available to test out: Practice Battle Tutorial, Arena Match, Ring Match, and Ring Party Match. Also available to play is the entire base roster and the preorder bonus fighters Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan versions and Vegeta, giving the beta a total of 23 fighters to play with.
Dragon Ball FighterZ comes to Nintendo’s hybrid console, the Switch, on September 28th and, as of the writing of this article, will bring exclusive modes that allow 1v1 and 2v2 battles. One of the biggest elements of the Switch developers love to use is it’s ability to have more local gameplay options with its many ways to play. Arc System Works is no exception and plays to bring an offline six player Party Match mode.
Also remember, those who preorder the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive a digital copy of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, a once Japanese exclusive release for the Super Famicon. You also get instant access to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan versions of Goku and Vegeta.
