We literally know nothing else but Sony have just announced Nioh 2, from Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja, the same team behind the original title. Nioh sees you step into the shoes of the Irishman William, who travels to Japan in order to retrieve something which was stolen from him. He gets engaged in an ongoing civil war in which dark powers have gotten the Oni (demons) involved in. After enacting revenge and defeating the Oni, William returns home. However after one final fight he actually decides to return to Japan, meaning he could easily star in the sequel. Nioh released in 2017 and recieved widespread critical acclaim for its action-RPG gameplay, stunning graphics and intriguing setting. Hopefully the sequel meets the loft expectations set.
We have no idea when Nioh 2 will release, but we do know when the Resident Evil 2 Remake releases.
