News just dropping on Twitter from EA’s official Star Wars account (@eastarwars) is they have listened to the feedback from the gaming community and reduced the cost of unlocks for heroes. Due to public outcry when the Play First Trial went live, players were saying that the amount of credits it takes to unlock heroes such as fan favorites Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader was way too high and unfair on the community; well EA have listened to this and from today have implemented a cost reduction of 75% making the achievement of earning credits to unlock heroes fun once again. The price of heroes now are as follows ;

  • Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are available for 15,000 credits.
  • Emperor Palpatine, Chewbacca and Leia Organa for 10,000 credits.
  • Iden is available for 5,000 credits.

As most of you will agree these are massive changes and totally needed making the achievement of unlocking heroes accessible to everyone. The updates for the changes will go live today (Tuesday 14th November).
