Gamescom: Devil May Cry 5 Gets Release Date & Teases Dante Gameplay

Gamescom is this week and a lot of announcements are coming at all time of the event. Capcom has taken this opportunity to show off another trailer for Devil May Cry 5, which was revealed at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, only this one focuses more on gameplay.

The gameplay is definitely a throwback to the chaotic experiences of the older titles but it seems you will have more freedom of techniques and abilities. In several sections, the van and new character Nico are showcased and could be a hint of them being readily available within the levels, perhaps to provide upgrades and purchases.

Two of the biggest take away from the trailer is that gameplay of Dante was shown off and, of course, he uses a motorcycle as a weapon. Yes, you read that correctly. The motorcycle splits in two and acts like something that words cannot due justice in description. The other large piece of news is that Devil May Cry 5 has an official release date of March 8th 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
