Gamescom: Xbox Game Pass Getting App & Halo: The Master Chief Collection With 4K Patch

Microsoft has announced at Gamescom that there will be a new Game Pass app that will allow players to manage their games, subscriptions, and even download games straight to their Xbox One. This is perfect for when a game is announced and you want to have it downloaded and ready to play when you get home.

Another announcement concerning Game Pass was the reveal that the Halo: Master Chief Collection would be coming to the subscription service this September. Though the collection has been mired in controversy due to its poor multiplayer connections and servers, the collection is set to receive a massive overhauling patch sometime this year.

The patch will bring the entire collection to the 4K realm and with HDR implementation and is supposed to be the first of a continued sign of making the collection what every gamer hoped it would be.
