This is what the Hitman 2 Collector’s Edition brings

Hitman 2 Collector's Edition

Be ready, because the stuff inside the Hitman 2 Collector’s Edition will fit you like an assassin glove.

Okay, so now we know that Hitman 2 is a real thing, WB Games is not going to sit around and leave us with just a digital copy or a steel cover, right? Nope, they are going to offer you a bunch of goodies if you are willing to pay the price. Even if some of those goodies are making us a little bit sceptical. Here’s what the Hitman 2 Collector’s Edition has to offer.

Hitman 2 Collector's Edition

As we can see on Hitman 2 official website, this Edition will be a GameStop exclusive, and it will cost around $150. “What’s in the suitcase?”, you may be wondering. Well, aside from having basically all the content available from the Gold Edition of the game, it also comes with two coins, a keychain and a rubber duck with 47’s iconic suit. Everything comes in a lovely black suitcase with the Hitman logo.

In terms of in-game additions, we have the rubber duck remote explosive and a new suit as well as the Executive Pack and Sniper Asassin. But here’s when you notice something that it’s not as fun as you may think: Expansions.

As stated under the label of Expansion 1 and Expansion 2, we can see that both types of DLCs offer new weapons, outfits, missions and worst of all: new locations.

It is not clear if those new locations are going to be completely new areas or just tweaking small areas like IO did with Hitman 2016. Regardless of that, adding new locations only by offering them via exclusive pre-order bonus or DLC is not something people enjoy nowadays for good reasons. But hey, better adding things rather than getting rid of them, right Nintendo?
