Kingdom Hearts 3 release date revealed: It’s actually happening

Kingdom Hearts 3 releases January 29th 2019 on PS4 and Xbox One
It’s finally time. After a twelve year console wait since Kingdom Hearts 2 and a six year gap since Dream Drop Distance on 3DS, we finally know when we’ll be able to play the next installment in the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour kicked off last night and Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura used that as the perfect opportunity to get fans hyped and apologise for the delay out of 2018. Despite this release date, lucky fans in Japan or others with Japanese network accounts will be able to play the game on January 25th 2019.
We’ve announced the release day for KINGDOM HEARTS III ahead of E3 at the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour-. I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3. Thank you – Nomura

It’s been an interesting start to E3 2018 so far. EA underwhelmed last night at their conference with a total lack of surprises and yet Anthem still looks incredible.
