Nintendo has officially tweeted out that the highly anticipated Mega Man 11 will be hitting the Switch on the 2nd of October.

If you remember, Mega Man 11 was announced back at the 30th anniversary event dedicated to Rocketman. Not only was the magnificent X series announced to be coming to modern platforms, but Capcom revealed that it had not abandoned Mega Man completely and a new entry was revealed.
Mega Man 11 boasts new art design and more modern looking graphics. Many have been worried ever since the colossal failure that was Mighty No. 9. I personally think this will be awesome and am excited for the series return. Hopefully, this marks more entries and more revival of older Capcom franchises that are dormant.
Also, currently only scheduled for Japan, there is a collectors edition that comes with a new Mega Man 11 inspired amiibo.
