Seamus Blackley, also known as the father of Xbox, recently announced on Twitter that the original Xbox controller The Duke is coming back. This is definitely great news for Xbox fans as such nostalgic trip down memory lane is priceless.
In February 1999, Blackley joined Microsoft; originally hired to work on DirectX, he co-wrote the initial Xbox proposal and helped assemble the team that designed and built the device.

The Duke controller is remembered by many for being massive in size, but also for representing the roots of console gaming. It will probably be compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X but it’s just a guess until official confirmation by Microsoft.
According to Blackley, the new Duke will also feature some enhancements but the feel will remain the same: loyal to the original.
