Rumor: EA Access headed to PS4

EA Access is allegedly making the journey to PlayStation 4. Currently the only console the service is available on is the Xbox One. Reddit user Sabazin found this image on the Brazilian PSN which is captioned “já disponível” or “available now”:

Is it fake? I don’t know. EA has recently said that they’re investigating other platforms. On their website under the EA Access FAQ they claim that the service is “Currently only available on Xbox One.” Currently being the important word. Last year EA CEO Andrew Wilson said fans, “Should expect us to continue driving this model to more platforms going forward.”

What is EA Access?

  • An instant access to 50+ EA games
  • Ten hour trials for brand new EA releases
  • 10% discount on EA games and microtransactions

What games are included?

  • Madden 19
  • Fe
  • Burnout Paradise Remastered
  • Sims 4
  • Star Wars Battlefront 2
  • Titanfall 2
  • Mass Effect
  • Dragon Age: Origins
  • Mirrors Edge
  • Dead Space
  • Loads more…

I think it’s a brilliant service and will make a fantastic addition to PS4. None of these games are streamed, all downloadable and played.
