Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice gets a release date and collector’s edition… and I’ll be playing it on Wednesday!

2019’s most anticipated game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a release date. I’ll hear no arguments. It’s the only game in 2019 worth looking forward to. Suggest The Last of Us Part 2, Halo Infinite, Death Stranding (as if it even exists) and whatever else is on its way, they have no chance against this joint effort from uber publisher Activision and legendary developer From Software. Luckily we won’t even have to wait long in 2019 before playing it. The action adventure with tied in RPG mechanics launches March 22nd. Less than three months into the year. The good news is it only gets better from here.

Alongside the release date we got the announcement of a beautiful collector’s edition. In 2019 a collector’s edition still containing a game is quite a nice prospect, Activision have ensured fans won’t be disappointed. Available for pre-order right now, you can get your hands on:

  • Full Game
  • 7” Shinobi Statue
  • SteelBook®
  • Collectible Artbook
  • Map
  • Digital Soundtrack
  • Replica Game Coins

Can it get better? It can get better. New gameplay details are the way forward now. Your mission in 1500s Japan is to rescue your master and enact revenge on his arch nemesis. With sword combat, interchangeable prosthetic tools and a new resurrection mechanic, Sekiro is set to be different from From’s previous efforts. Fans shouldn’t fret though, Hidetaka Miyazaki himself is the Director on this title. If you want to know even more about Shadows Die Twice?
