Tekken 7 Is Getting A Second Season Featuring Negan From The Walking Dead!

Featured Multi-platform News

After the finals of the 2018 Tekken 7 EVO tournament, Director Katsuhiro Harada and game designer Michael Murray took the stage. Taking the time to joke with those in attendance, the team behind the wonderful Tekken 7 officially announced a second season of content for the game. 6 characters will join the game’s roster, 2 of which are returning veterans and beloved by fans: Anna Williams and Lei Wulong. 3 will remain a mystery until they wish to reveal them and the final character is completely unexpected: Negan from The Walking Dead will join the roster.

Fans will know Lei Wulong from his early debut in Tekken 2 and were primarily created as a tribute to legendary comedic and martial arts actor Jackie Chan. Anna Williams, on the other hand, is the sister to one of the most popular Tekken characters Nina Williams and the two of them have become favorites from fans of the franchise. The game’s first season pass saw characters Geese Howard from Fatal Fury and Noctis from Final Fantasy XV. No word on if this season will include more game modes, as the first came with Tekken Bowling, and no word if the highly and most requested Kiryu from the Yakuza franchise will make his long awaited debut.
