The team behind the Xbox One backwards compatibility will bee taking the holidays off add announced by Larry Hyrb today on Twitter.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank that team for all their hard work and the love and care they’ve put into backwards compatibility.
When it first launched it wasn’t perfect, some games ran better than others, but over time they’ve seemingly managed to perfect it. Even some games got a bump in resolution and enhanced by Microsoft’s beast of a console in the Xbox One X.
2017 also saw 13 original Xbox games become compatible as well. They’ve worked hard and deserve the break, they’ve earned it. I hope they enjoy their holidays and come bsck refreshed. I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings.
