Every year without fail there’s a new Call of Duty game from Activision. They have the three year development cycle of the game so regimented that there is currently three separate studios making the game. After a spate of rumors including NBA star James Harden wearing a hat with a familiar logo it could finally be time we see the newest COD title revealed. It is Treyarch’s turn to develop and that means the Black Ops series will be continued. Eurogamer’s sources have claimed it will be Black Ops 4. Other industry insiders have followed this up. Some, such as Marcus Sellars claim the game will be released on Nintendo Switch as well as PS4 and Xbox One. All of the sources agree on one thing; the reveal is imminent.

Another two properties that are heavily rumored are more platforms for Crash Bandicoot: The N Sane Trilogy and a Spyro the Dragon remaster. Considering these are both Activision properties expected to release in 2018 and we are drawing near to the close of the financial year it would be understandable for the reveals to come soon. Activision have confirmed that more remasters are in development, the @SpyroTheDragon twitter handle was also recently renamed ‘Falcon McBob‘. This is thought to be the project’s codename. As usual though readers should be wary about rumors. The video game industry is a bizarre and complex world with announcements set to change at any moment.
