SOURCES: ANIMAL CROSSING SWITCH RELEASE DATE

Animal Crossing 2019 release

Firstly I would like to clarify: I know next to nothing about Animal Crossing on Switch. It’ll be a main title, no weird Amiibo or minigame spin-offs to be seen here. It’ll be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. There’ll be crossovers with the app. There’ll be animals living in a town, giving you random furniture and asking you your favorite greetings. What else do I know?

Well, according to two separate @thelootgaming sources it’ll be releasing in September 2019. Anyone who keeps an eye on my Twitter feed will know I’ve already actually said this a couple of times, now I feel a bit more confident doubling down thanks to the additional support. I warned fans before the Nintendo Direct to control their hype, Animal Crossing will be this year’s Nintendo E3 focus. GamesRadar even picked up on our advance knowledge!

Fans of Animal Crossing do not go into tomorrow night with huge expectations. #AnimalCrossing will be the big E3 game for Nintendo this year. Expect it to take the September/October release slot! #NintendoDirect pic.twitter.com/R14ZJlOxlU

So there you have it. Nothing is real until Nintendo confirms it and I’m sure fans will be eagerly anticipating E3 2019 to find out more. I know I am. With Astral Chain, Mario Maker 2, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Luigi’s Mansion and tons more to look forward to then at least Nintendo fans know the wait will be more than worth it.
