Halo backwards compatibility, Xbox One X preorders online, Red Dead 2 trailer announced, South Park goes gold.

Halo games available through backwards compatibility

After a long wait, and little surprise, Microsoft announced that Halo:CE (disc only), Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 are all available through the company’s backward compatibility program. Plans are currently in the works to release the original Halo: CE digitally in the coming weeks, and it would be safe to assume that Halo 2 will find its way onto Xbox One via the Original Xbox backwards compatibility program coming later this year.

Xbox One X console preorders go online.

Microsoft also announced this week that pre-orders for the world’s most powerful console are now available through a series of online retailers. This announcement comes only weeks after the initial preorders were snapped up in a matter of days.
