The Future of Xbox is bright, no doubts about it!
People always like to cast doubt over the future of Xbox and its brand. Whether they are fans of another platform, toxic social media attack accounts or legitimate people who are concerned for the games lineup for Xbox; someone is usually casting doubt somewhere on the subject. It’s good to positively criticize anything today, to make sure whatever product/idea/game/movie is created for what the fans truly want. With this, I say “Have some faith”.
In a few weeks, the launch of the Xbox One X will be here on Nov 7th and the height of console gaming will be here. This 4K beast machine of a console brings some Very impressive tech specs!

This new Xbox has set a new standard in home gaming, bringing all games to play and be shown at their highest quality even rivaling many PC builds. Highly anticipated AAA 3rd party games releasing this fall are going to blow people away on their graphical quality and people are going to want more!
Earlier this year in a big interview with Eurogamer.net Xbox boss Phil Spencer sat down and gave an interview, providing an insight into the future of Xbox. Heres an excerpt I think people need to keep in mind while thinking about the future of Xbox.
Phil: “We’ve signed some things we haven’t announced. I’m not gonna go stand on-stage – I’ve lived through announcing things too early and then had to live up to the hype while you’re trying to go build the game, and I’m learning. I’m not a big fan of that. So I want to give teams the time.”
This might mean that we could see brand new Gears of War or Halo games being built to run and utilize the power of Xbox one X, or we will see a many number of brand new IPs added to the Xbox one library. Either way that it goes, Xbox gamers have a lot to look forward to! Their new business strategy has been a focus on Hardware, then the Software. We finally have the hardware. Now, all in due time, we will see some amazing software. Games that are built to run and utilize the power that is Xbox one X, a True 4k gaming machine! Xbox One X is a un-matched home console of eye googly goodness, and the future games to come (like Anthem) will only prove to everyone that this is the machine to beat.
There is no more “Short–Term” investment that the industry is used to. Microsoft/Xbox is looking to the long-term and has proven that’s what they’re aiming for. Have faith that good things are coming, 2018 will only prove that Xbox One X will bring a potential fantastic set of new games to eye drool over!
Gaming has never been better than what it is right now. With a slew of top games this fall and early 2018 no matter what platform you choose, expect to have the best gaming experience you’ve ever had!
